The 300 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course at Yoga Gita is a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the subject of Yoga. This six-week program is the next step after being introduced to the practice of Yoga; as it will guide you to evolve your practice so that you can move into the dimension of being, through the medium of doing.

Your practice of postures, pranayama, meditation and the understanding of the philosophy behind all of these concepts will be polished under well-trained teachers. You will be trained to handle classes by yourself with individual guidance from a pure unconditioned mind such as Vijay Gopala or evolved teachers under the guidance of Vijay.

Do I Need a Certain Level of Yoga Experience to Take a 300 Hours Teacher Training Course?
Our courses suit those who want to experience the subject of Yoga in its real form, previous experience in teaching Yoga is not required, as this is a journey to the Self. It will be an experience which brings a totally new dimension to your life expression.

Monday – Friday (Saturday half day)

(Timings can vary – depending on subjects and point of teaching in the course)

Meditation will be guided and offer students insight into how to get the most from this beautiful state of being.
07:00 – 09:45
Students will learn a number of new and more advanced Asana series developed by Vijay and will be guided to handle the body so that the identification and influence that is happening to your Self through restricted form and shape will be resolved.
09:45 – 10:00
Grab yourself some me time or head to the ‘coconut corner’ for some fresh coconut water – only a short walk from Yoga Gita.

Discourse on Patanjali Yoga Sutras

Students will learn more about philosophy, chanting, posture analysis, teaching skills, life skills, deepening the practice, deepening the guidance.

17:30 – 18:00
Sundays are free days, students often take time to enjoy Mysore and all it has to offer.

What is Included in The Price of the Course?
Two filling and healthy meals are provided twice a day from Monday to Friday, on Saturday a brunch is served, consisting of freshly made, organic and Sattvic yogi Indian food. Any allergies and recommendations can be easily tailored to.
Accommodation will either be at the Yoga Gita school itself, or in a nearby apartment shared with fellow students. Every student will stay in a shared room and will have access to a shared kitchen and bathroom.
