How meditation can be restricted when singing Bhajans
Meditation is very often equated as a method for peace of mind. Although, a certain "peace of mind" can be achieved by lullaby, numbing the mind, restrictions by focusing etc...it will not lead to an expansive, all inclusive state which is meditation.
We do find out there songs to dissolve the ego, such as shivoham, nirvanashatakam etc. However, their approach is to explain the deep philosophy of Self realization and not for singing.
