Testimonial 200hrs by Linus

Hello, I am Linus from Sweden. Now I am here in Yoga Gita, Mysore, India. Doing the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training. For me it’s been an interesting and intense journey. In a way that I got a lot of perspectives about my own practise and in the subject of Yoga. Before coming here I have been practising Yoga for quite some time. But when I came here and start to practise I realised that what I have been doing until now was a very superficial practise. From here I learned in depth what Yoga actually is and what it means. For me it was starting over from the beginning again. So in that way I gained a lot and I am looking forward to take that knowledge into my day to day practise. I would recommend this course to anyone that would really like to learn yoga in a proper way and get a proper understanding what yoga is and what it means. Not only on a superficial level, also in depth to get a wide understanding for the subject. And even for people that have been practising Yoga and want to have a wider understanding for what Yoga means and what it is. I think this kind of teaching really helps you to implement other aspects in day to day life. You can bridge the practise on the mat with life till your actual life in whatever you are doing. Vijay’s approach, his teachings can really attract especially people from the West. We are used to an intellectual way of looking at things. He can really bridge the intellectual part with the practical part. For many people including myself it is also easy to take that understanding. And to understand why we practise. India really makes you question life, in the sense that life is very very opposite to many other places and especially to Europe. The experience of being in a culture living after Indian morals makes you see life from a different perspective. And to me, it means that, it is easier to let go of things. You understand that a lot of things in your life doesn’t mean so much and you can still have a good quality of life. India is an amazing place to be.
